mood: elated.
hello all.
oh today is simply awesome. why? because leeyan, jodie and i applied for a few part time job. i think we applied for about 8 jobs. haha. how cool. so the day started when we jodie and i met leeyan at the pasir ris mrt station. we went straight to marina square's john little because rumours has it that they need more casheirs. well, rumours, being well of course, rumours, part timers were not needed. i wasn't disappointed actually :)
so we made our way back to starbucks. we applied for it. the funny part was that, there's this section where they ask when you would like to start working, we all wrote, A.S.A.P. haha. yeah we were desperate you see. tried club marc but there wasn't any vacancy. such a bummer. we then made our way to suntec city. that was the fun part of the day. literally :)
went to afew places. i can't recall all. we applied at sun paradise and fashion lab. sun paradise is some swimwear apparel while fashion lab is well ladies apparels. tried aldo but we need to contact HR incharge name Ian. they need part timers so i'll prolly call him up tomorrow because apperently, he was not at his workplace -.-" . made our way to esplanade next. applied at arc and cool bears workshop. arc was super awesome. the guys there are super hot. haha. sorry boyfriend.
we then made our way to orchard cinleisure in hopes of getting a cool part time job. so we went up to level 5 to apply and straight to interview. wow. my first job interview. no wait, my second actually :) first was at imodels. the theatre cordinator was such a pain in the ass whereas the manager was super nice. the job wasn't that flexible actually. we have to work up to 6am in some days. kinda sucks right. well, i wasn't feeling it ya'll. besides, the bitchy cordinator was a total turn off to work with. the outfits they wore for work wasn't that pretty anyway. so unglam. haha.
we were exhausted by then so we went home. on the way to orchard mrt, imodels ambassadors came up to me again. o how awesome. i miss that feeling. haha. i told the lady that we already webt for the interview but mom wasn't up for it. bummer. oh yeah! then there's this 2 guys who approched us to buy tix for some party. they were like "hey girls! do you girls like to party and daaance?" we were like ooooooookay. then they said its a pre-sale tix so its cheaper and we can pay up at the door. the thing is, we are not legal yet. so not party boys. haha. thanks anyway. wow, we look 18 :)
bottomline is, i hope i get a call from any of the jobs i applied. im really hoping for starbucks, arc, aldo or IMODELS...not. haha. whatever. anyone will do. leeyan just called and she said her cousin has part time vacancies at Hyatt Hotel as some ushers. cool. if none call by the next 3 days, i'll take that job.
